What’s your favourite part of the job?
I love being a part of the learning process for new employees. Being able to not only instruct them, but actually see that “Wow, I got it!” moment on their faces is a rewarding feeling.
What’s the most challenging part of the job?
The most challenging part of being a Training Specialist is making sure that all of the training material is up to date. At the same time, I feel as though it makes the job exciting and I enjoy being part of a fast-growing, dynamic company!
What skills have you learned at CSG?
Since I started working here straight out of university, CSG has really molded me into the professional that I have become today. Over the years, my sales skills as a broker, and my leadership skills as a trainer have improved, two things that are fostered by the culture at CSG.
What makes CSG different from other places you’ve worked?
I like how involved CSG is within Windsor-Essex. There are often fundraisers, like the Corporate Challenge and the May Court Clothing Drive, that not only bring our community together, but bring the staff of CSG together.
What is the work culture like at CSG?
I find CSG is very team-oriented! Whether it is within certain divisions or across the entire company, it almost feels like we are a family.
What advice would you give professionals looking to stay in Windsor-Essex?
Always keep an open mind to new opportunities that come your way. Even though it may seem a bit challenging or out of reach for you, go for it! CSG offers great opportunities and has helped me achieve my career goals.
